Sarah has been practicing primarily in the area of disability law and workers’ compensation for the past 30 years and is a founding member of Harrison O’Leary. Sarah graduated from Queen’s Law School in 1980. She has been a Vice Chair of the Appeal Division, Workers’ Advisor, Disability Law specialist at the Legal Services Society, and staff lawyer for a health care union. She practiced with Rush Crane Guenther for 10 years before joining with Rolf in 2017 to establish Harrison O’Leary. She instructed WCB advocacy at the Canada Labour Congress Winter School for 22 years and was a WCB Advocacy instructor in the Labour Studies Program at Capilano College for 16 years. As an associate with Rush Crane Guenther she regularly instructed union courses on emerging trends in workers’ compensation, and now continues these courses through Harrison O’Leary.

Rolf has been practicing in the area of workers’ compensation since 2010 and is a founding partner of Harrison O’Leary. He completed his law degree at UBC where he was active in the law students’ legal clinics, representing workers in human rights, wrongful dismissal and compensation matters. Upon being called to the bar in 2010, he joined Rush Crane Guenther practicing primarily in the area of workers’ compensation, until joining with Sarah to form Harrison O’Leary in 2017. Rolf has been a WCB instructor at the CLC Winter School since 2012, a guest speaker on workers’ compensation law for the Continuing Legal Education Society of BC, and an instructor of RCG courses for union advocates on emerging trends in workers’ compensation. These courses now continue through Harrison O’Leary.
